ABOUT THE POSITIONS:

We are looking for talented individuals interested in the following categories:

  • Event Coordinator- Intern will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Cocoa Social and client events, including vendor communication, guest management, and onsite support.

  • Social Media + Content Creation- Intern(s) will support in creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, graphics for feed, stories, and filming TikTok's/Reels and all potential events needs.

​

  • Influencer Marketing- Intern(s) will research, connect with, and manage relationships with influencers and brand partners for client and internal campaigns.

​

  • Photographer Intern
    Capture high-quality photos at events and content shoots, contributing to Cocoa Social and clients visual storytelling and marketing materials.

Things to note: These internship positions are unpaid and based out of Chicago,IL. Non-local applicants will not be considered.

TIME COMMITMENT

More than likely, you’ll be required through your school to receive school credit for the internship, which will determine the number of hours you’ll need to work each week (approx. 15 hours/week).

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passion for events, marketing, or creative industries

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn preferred)

  • Photography & editing skills (for photographer applicants)

  • Video editing skills (bonus for content creators)

  • Ability to work 10–15 hours per week (mix of remote and in-person)

  • Must be based in Chicago or surrounding area for event participation

  • Prior experience is a plus, but not required — we welcome driven students and emerging creatives ready to learn
